The Aurica features a convenient touchpad, allowing full control of all functions of this hood. With just the tap of a finger, you can activate one of the three-speed modes, depending on what setting you need in your kitchen. If you need powerful airflow, this Klarstein hood has you covered, since its max speed is up to 607 m³/hr.
Once the included aluminium grease filter has reached max saturation, instead of replacing it, you can stick it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, which is a nice touch.

The Klarstein Cooker Hood is a moderately powerful fan. It boasts an impressive extraction rate of 607 cubic meters per hour on the top speed mode. While this is quite large for a cooker hood, Klarstein advises that this model is suited for small or medium-sized kitchens.
Power Consumption
This hood has a total power consumption rate of 168 watts (W). This wattage occurs when the cooker hood is on the top speed mode with the light switched on. Most cooker hoods consume around 60-250W or more and so as cooker hoods go, this is quite a low energy consumption.
Noise Level
This cooker hood produces a noise level of around 71dB (A) on the top speed, which is fairly quiet considering it is extracting 607 m³/hr. On the lower speed, the hood makes a noise level of just 55dB (A).
Design
One thing I love about the Klarstein Aurica cooker hood is its design. Available in either black or white (both colours look great), this model features an elegant glass front on a hinge for safety purposes, making it visually one of the best angled cooker hoods, in my opinion.
Owed to its head-free design, this hood allows you to use it without it being in the way. Its touch controls make it both elegant and functional, allowing you to control which speed you want to set your cooker hood too, depending on what you need in the moment.
You can easily activate the 2 bright LED lights (energy efficiency rating A) to illuminate your cooking area, for better visibility.
If you prefer, you also have the option of turning it into a recirculating cooker hood, using the included activated carbon filter, as well.
Grease Filter
The Klarstein Aurica Cooker Hood features an aluminium grease filter to capture grease and smoke particles from the air. Aluminium filters are usually only included with more premium models as they are more expensive than simple disposable cooker hood filters. As well as being good quality, this filter is dishwasher-safe, meaning you can pop it in the dishwasher to clean it, rather than have to scrub it or even through it away.
Warranty
This Klarstein hood, according to their terms and conditions, comes with a 24-month warranty period. The company has a friendly customer service team to assist with warranty, fault, and repair enquiries over the phone.

Verdict: Should You Buy The Klarstein Hood?
The Klarstein Cooker Hood is certainly a great buy – it’s a very popular cooker hood for a reason. The sleek design, as well as the excellent extraction rate and my personal favourite feature, the touchscreen panel, make it a purchase that’s well worth it.
This hood has a powerful extraction rate and is best suited to small-to-medium-sized kitchens that are prone to generate large amounts of smoke and humidity.
