Summary

The Manrose CF200H follows on from the CF100 range and is another top centrifugal fan. It supplies an even more mighty, vibration-free extraction rate in your application of choice. This model has been designed primarily for applications that would require longer ducting runs.

The CF200H works great against the usual pressures of long ducts as well as any grill resistance. It comes fitted with a built-in back flap in the discharge spigot region to drastically reduce the chance of any backdraughts occurring.

This fan is suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.

Extraction Rate

The Manrose CF200H has a moderate extraction flow rate of 110m3/hr, around 31 litres per second. While this extractor fan doesn’t have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be anticipated as this fan’s manufacture was intended for extracting airflow over longer duct runs.

Power Consumption

This centrifugal fan by Manrose operates at 1,400 RPM and the motor itself runs at 17 Watts. Although the wattage and RPM are lower than the CF100 series, it has a larger pressure of 120 p.a and will extract a lot more airflow and moisture.

Noise Level

The Manrose CF200H outputs a noise level of around 45dB at 3 metres distance. This is not the low volume fan around but, keep in mind, as mentioned earlier, this is a strong extractor fan and it will get the job done.

Design

This fan was manufactured from durable and high-quality ABS plastics, selected for its long-lasting robustness. It also means cleaning is easier, ensuring that the CF200H will operate well for a great deal of time.

One thing to point out is, via a customer’s comments, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points will likely not be in the same place. In this particular example, the customer was reviewing the Manrose QF100H, which has completely different mounting points than this CF200H model, especially as the CF200H is quite a deal larger than the other models in the series.

On the topic of its size, as seen in the various images on the page, it isn’t a square shape like most other extractor fans, but rather a large rectangular shape. This is important to keep in mind when you are planning its location.

With regard to its motor, it features a single-phase induction motor with bearings that are pre-oiled. This decreases the need for any maintenance while also making sure that it will last much longer.

Overrun Timer

This run-on timer starts from 1 minute and goes up to 20 minutes. It is usually advisable to configure the overrun timer before you have installed the fan.

In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover.  Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Previous customers have commented that it is quite sensitive, so take care when configuring it.

Humidistat

Additionally, as with all Manrose unit numbers, the “H” means this model has a built-in humidistat or humidity sensor. This humidity control is fully adjustable from 40%RH to 90%RH. It is usually advisable to configure the humidistat before you have installed the fan.

In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover.  Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Just like the run-on timer, customers have commented that it is sensitive, so take care when adjusting it.
