Summary

The Manrose MixFlo 100T is a robust mixed flow fan, that has been designed primarily for applications that might require higher airflow, as well as providing lower sound levels at just 24db(A). Instead of being located directly in the bathroom, this fan sits in the loft or ceiling void above the bathroom and therefore all you would see on the ceiling would be the grill.

The MF100T, as well as any of the MF100 series, can be mounted in a number of different applications and is suitable for use with either flexible or rigid ducting.

To top this off, the Manrose MF100T fan can be ducted from any bathroom zone and can be ducted all the way up to 10 metres without loss of power.

Main Features

  • Our Rating: 9.3/10
  • SFP: 0.37W/l/s
  • Maximum Sound Level: 24dB
  • No electrics in the bathroom as in the loft above
  • Maximum Flow Rate: 68 litres per second
  • Double Insulation – no earth required
  • Fully Building Code compliant
  • Fully BEAB approved rated to IPX
  • Has three settings for speed, H, M and L
  • 3 Year Warranty
Manrose MF100T Diagram

Extraction Rate

The Manrose MF100T although a quiet fan, has an excellent maximum extraction flow rate of 245m3/hr, approximately 68 litres per second.

There are three different configurable speeds High, Medium and Low, each with varying RPM, Wattage, dB etc, as indicated in the table below. The speed of this fan is set using a jumper and pins found directly under the cover.

Power Consumption

This in-line fan runs between 1,700 RPM to 2,400 RPM and the motor runs at a maximum consumption of 25 Watts, depending on the setting you go for (see table above). Although the wattage may seem higher than some other models on the market, you have to remember that this is a very powerful fan. It also has a moderate SFP Efficiency Rate of just 0.37W/l/s, ensuring that this fan runs smoothly and efficiently.

Noise Level

The Manrose MF100T runs at a low noise level of just 24dB at 3 metres on the “High” setting and just 20dB at 3 metres on the “Low” setting. This is incredibly quiet, especially when this is probably the most powerful 100mm extractor fan currently.

Material

This extractor fan was manufactured from top-quality ABS thermoplastics, selected for their long-lasting robustness. This will ensure that the MF100T will work for a very long time. ABS thermoplastic is a great choice for bathroom extractor fans because it is a durable material that can withstand high levels of moisture and humidity.

Overrun Timer

As the “T” in the model number suggests, this unit features an adjustable timer module. The run-on timer starts from 60 seconds all the way up to 20 minutes. It is easiest to set the overrun timer before you install the fan.

In order to configure it, you need to remove the wiring cover. Next, you need to gently turn the potentiometer until you are happy with the time you have set. It is very sensitive in that just a small twist will greatly affect the timing set.

Humidity Sensor

The MF100T does NOT have a humidity sensor or humidistat, and unfortunately, the use of a humidity sensor is not actually possible with this model. If this is something you are after, you will need to get, instead, the MF100S as well as the Manrose 1361 Remote Humidistat and Timer.

Warranty

This extractor fan by Manrose features a 3-year warranty or 30,000 hours. They have a dedicated technical support line on their website if you have any questions.

Summary

The Manrose CF200H follows on from the CF100 range and is another top centrifugal fan. It supplies an even more mighty, vibration-free extraction rate in your application of choice. This model has been designed primarily for applications that would require longer ducting runs.

The CF200H works great against the usual pressures of long ducts as well as any grill resistance. It comes fitted with a built-in back flap in the discharge spigot region to drastically reduce the chance of any backdraughts occurring.

This fan is suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.

Main Features

  • Our Rating: 8.8/10
  • Maximum Sound Level: 42dB
  • Perfect for longer ducting
  • Wall or ceiling mounted
  • Backdraught Flap
  • Adjustable Overrun Timer
  • Humidity Sensor
  • Maximum Flow Rate: 31 litres per second (110m³/hr)
  • Double Insulation – no earth required
  • Building Regulations on Ventilation (F1) compliant
  • IP44 Rated
  • 3 Year Warranty
Manrose CF200H Design Specification

Extraction Rate

The Manrose CF200H has a moderate extraction flow rate of 110m3/hr, around 31 litres per second. While this extractor fan doesn’t have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be anticipated as this fan’s manufacture was intended for extracting airflow over longer duct runs.

Power Consumption

This centrifugal fan by Manrose operates at 1,400 RPM and the motor itself runs at 17 Watts. Although the wattage and RPM are lower than the CF100 series, it has a larger pressure of 120 p.a and will extract a lot more airflow and moisture.

Noise Level

The Manrose CF200H outputs a noise level of around 45dB at 3 metres distance. This is not the low volume fan around but, keep in mind, as mentioned earlier, this is a strong extractor fan and it will get the job done.

Design

This fan was manufactured from durable and high-quality ABS plastics, selected for its long-lasting robustness. It also means cleaning is easier, ensuring that the CF200H will operate well for a great deal of time.

One thing to point out is, via a customer’s comments, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points will likely not be in the same place. In this particular example, the customer was reviewing the Manrose QF100H, which has completely different mounting points than this CF200H model, especially as the CF200H is quite a deal larger than the other models in the series.

On the topic of its size, as seen in the various images on the page, it isn’t a square shape like most other extractor fans, but rather a large rectangular shape. This is important to keep in mind when you are planning its location.

With regard to its motor, it features a single-phase induction motor with bearings that are pre-oiled. This decreases the need for any maintenance while also making sure that it will last much longer.

Overrun Timer

This run-on timer starts from 1 minute and goes up to 20 minutes. It is usually advisable to configure the overrun timer before you have installed the fan.

In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover.  Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Previous customers have commented that it is quite sensitive, so take care when configuring it.

Humidistat

Additionally, as with all Manrose unit numbers, the “H” means this model has a built-in humidistat or humidity sensor. This humidity control is fully adjustable from 40%RH to 90%RH. It is usually advisable to configure the humidistat before you have installed the fan.

In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover.  Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Just like the run-on timer, customers have commented that it is sensitive, so take care when adjusting it.

Manrose QF100H

Extraction Rate

The Manrose QF100H while it runs quietly, has an excellent extractor rate of 75m3/hr, which is roughly 21 (20.8) litres per second. Compared to the standard axial fan available, this is pretty good.

Power Consumption

Although this fan runs at a fairly decent speed of 2,300 r.p.m, this fan contains a low energy-consuming motor with a maximum consumption of 4.8 Watts. It also has a low SFP of just 0.24W/l/s, ensuring that this fan runs efficiently.

Noise Level

The Manrose QF100H runs at a low decibel level of just 27dB at 3 metres. The manufacturer has cited that this is over a 60% reduction in comparison to the standard 4-inch 100mm domestic extractor fans available on the market today.

Material

This extractor fan was created using top-quality ABS thermoplastics, chosen for their robust strength and durableness. This will ensure that the QF100H will last for a long time in your bathroom or shower room.

Overrun Timer

Just like the QF100T, this unit features a timer module that is adjustable. The run-on timer starts from 60 seconds and goes all the way up to 20 minutes. It is advisable that you configure the overrun timer before you install the fan, as it is easier to do so.

In order to set it to your desired time, the overrun time regulator itself has a small opening for a screwdriver. Because it is located at the top of the unit, if you wish to change the setting after installation, you can remove the front cover – there are small caps that cover the screw heads that some customers find easy to miss. Simply twist gently until you reach the timing of your choice.

Summary

The Manrose CF200T follows on from the CF100 range and is another great centrifugal fan. It provides an even more powerful, vibration-free airflow extraction in your chosen room. This model has been designed mainly for applications that would require longer ducting runs.

The CF200T works great against the usual pressures of long ducts as well as any grill resistance. It comes fitted with a built-in flap in the discharge spigot area to dramatically reduce the likelihood of any backdraughts.

This fan is suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.

Main Features

  • Our Rating: 9/10
  • Maximum Sound Level: 42dB
  • Perfect for longer ducting
  • Wall or ceiling mounted
  • Backdraft Flap
  • Adjustable Overrun Timer
  • Maximum Flow Rate: 31 litres per second (110m³/hr)
  • Double Insulation – no earth required
  • Building Regulations on Ventilation (F1) compliant
  • IP44 Rated
  • 3 Year Warranty

Extraction Rate

The Manrose CF200T has a decent extraction rate of 110m3/hr, approximately 31 litres per second. While this fan does not have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be expected as this fan’s design is intended for extracting air over longer duct runs than usual.

Power Consumption

This centrifugal fan runs at 1,400 RPM and the motor runs at a consumption of 17 Watts. Although the wattage and RPM is lower than the CF100T, it has a higher pressure of 120 p.a and will extract a lot more moisture and airflow.

Noise Level

The Manrose CF200T outputs a noise volume of around 45dB at 3 metres. This is not the quietest fan and you will notice it – especially if you are changing from a typical axial fan that you’d get in a bathroom. But keep in mind, as mentioned above, this is a powerful fan and will get the job done.

Design

This extractor fan was manufactured from high-quality ABS, chosen for its long-lasting strength. It also allows for easy cleaning, ensuring that the CF200T will work well for a long period of time.

One thing to mention, as pointed out by a customer, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points will likely not be in the same place. In this particular example, the customer was reviewing the Manrose QF100H, which has completely different mounting points than this CF200T model, especially as it is larger than other models.

On the subject of its size, it isn’t a square like most other extractor fans out there but a larger rectangular shape. This is important to keep in mind when you are planning the location for your chosen application.

In order to configure it, you need to first remove the wiring cover. Ensure that the power is turned off first! Next, you’ll need to insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce it. Customers have said it is quite sensitive, so take care when setting it.

Extraction Rate

The Manrose CF100T has a decent maximum extraction flow rate of 90m3/hr, approximately 25 litres per second. While this fan does not have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be expected as this fan’s design is intended for pushing air over longer duct runs.

Power Consumption

This centrifugal fan runs at 1,600 RPM and the motor runs at a maximum consumption of 20 Watts. Although the wattage may seem higher than some other models on the market, you have to remember that this is a powerful fan and is fairly standard for a centrifugal fan.

Noise Level

The Manrose CF100T outputs a noise volume of around 42dB at 3 metres. This is not the quietest fan and you will notice it – especially if you are changing from a typical axial fan. But keep in mind, as mentioned above, this is a powerful fan and will get the job done.

Design

This extractor fan was manufactured from top-quality ABS thermoplastics, selected for its long-lasting robustness. It also allows for easy cleaning, ensuring that the CF100T will work well for a very long time.

The motor itself is a single-phase induction motor and the bearings are pre-oiled. This reduces any requirement for maintenance while also ensuring that it will run for a long time.

One thing to note, as indicated by a customer, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points may not be in the same place. In this instance, the customer had the Manrose QF100T, which has different mounting points than this CF100T model.

Overrun Timer

As with all Manrose model numbers, the “T” means this unit features an overrun timer module. This run-on timer starts from 1 minute up to 20 minutes. It is usually best to set the overrun timer before you have installed the fan.

In order to configure it, you need to first remove the wiring cover. Make sure the power is off first! Next, you’ll need to gently twist the thumb wheel until you are happy with the time you have set. Customers have said it is fairly sensitive, meaning just a small turn will greatly affect the setting.

Warranty

This extractor fan by Manrose features a 3-year warranty or 30,000 hours. They have a dedicated technical support line on their website if you have any questions.

Humidistat

Additionally, as with all Manrose models, any with an “H” means they have a built-in humidity sensor or humidistat. This humidity control is fully adjustable from 40%RH to 90%RH. It is usually advisable to configure the humidistat before you have installed it.

In order to configure it, make sure the power is turned off first! Next, you need to take off the wiring cover. Then, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Just like the run-on timer, customers have commented that it is sensitive, so take care when adjusting it.
