]]>The Manrose MixFlo 100T is a robust mixed flow fan, that has been designed primarily for applications that might require higher airflow, as well as providing lower sound levels at just 24db(A). Instead of being located directly in the bathroom, this fan sits in the loft or ceiling void above the bathroom and therefore all you would see on the ceiling would be the grill.
The MF100T, as well as any of the MF100 series, can be mounted in a number of different applications and is suitable for use with either flexible or rigid ducting.
To top this off, the Manrose MF100T fan can be ducted from any bathroom zone and can be ducted all the way up to 10 metres without loss of power.
The Manrose MF100T although a quiet fan, has an excellent maximum extraction flow rate of 245m3/hr, approximately 68 litres per second.
There are three different configurable speeds High, Medium and Low, each with varying RPM, Wattage, dB etc, as indicated in the table below. The speed of this fan is set using a jumper and pins found directly under the cover.
This in-line fan runs between 1,700 RPM to 2,400 RPM and the motor runs at a maximum consumption of 25 Watts, depending on the setting you go for (see table above). Although the wattage may seem higher than some other models on the market, you have to remember that this is a very powerful fan. It also has a moderate SFP Efficiency Rate of just 0.37W/l/s, ensuring that this fan runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Manrose MF100T runs at a low noise level of just 24dB at 3 metres on the “High” setting and just 20dB at 3 metres on the “Low” setting. This is incredibly quiet, especially when this is probably the most powerful 100mm extractor fan currently.
This extractor fan was manufactured from top-quality ABS thermoplastics, selected for their long-lasting robustness. This will ensure that the MF100T will work for a very long time. ABS thermoplastic is a great choice for bathroom extractor fans because it is a durable material that can withstand high levels of moisture and humidity.
As the “T” in the model number suggests, this unit features an adjustable timer module. The run-on timer starts from 60 seconds all the way up to 20 minutes. It is easiest to set the overrun timer before you install the fan.
In order to configure it, you need to remove the wiring cover. Next, you need to gently turn the potentiometer until you are happy with the time you have set. It is very sensitive in that just a small twist will greatly affect the timing set.
The MF100T does NOT have a humidity sensor or humidistat, and unfortunately, the use of a humidity sensor is not actually possible with this model. If this is something you are after, you will need to get, instead, the MF100S as well as the Manrose 1361 Remote Humidistat and Timer.
This extractor fan by Manrose features a 3-year warranty or 30,000 hours. They have a dedicated technical support line on their website if you have any questions.

If you’re after a top-rated, moderately priced, in-duct mounted mixed flow fan, with an excellent extraction rate all while running very quietly, then you should definitely consider getting the MF100T.
As this model is incredibly easy to install, it comes as no surprise that this extractor fan at the time of writing has an average of 4.5 stars from lots of reviews online.

]]>The Manrose CF200H follows on from the CF100 range and is another top centrifugal fan. It supplies an even more mighty, vibration-free extraction rate in your application of choice. This model has been designed primarily for applications that would require longer ducting runs.
The CF200H works great against the usual pressures of long ducts as well as any grill resistance. It comes fitted with a built-in back flap in the discharge spigot region to drastically reduce the chance of any backdraughts occurring.
This fan is suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.
The Manrose CF200H has a moderate extraction flow rate of 110m3/hr, around 31 litres per second. While this extractor fan doesn’t have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be anticipated as this fan’s manufacture was intended for extracting airflow over longer duct runs.
This centrifugal fan by Manrose operates at 1,400 RPM and the motor itself runs at 17 Watts. Although the wattage and RPM are lower than the CF100 series, it has a larger pressure of 120 p.a and will extract a lot more airflow and moisture.
The Manrose CF200H outputs a noise level of around 45dB at 3 metres distance. This is not the low volume fan around but, keep in mind, as mentioned earlier, this is a strong extractor fan and it will get the job done.
This fan was manufactured from durable and high-quality ABS plastics, selected for its long-lasting robustness. It also means cleaning is easier, ensuring that the CF200H will operate well for a great deal of time.
One thing to point out is, via a customer’s comments, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points will likely not be in the same place. In this particular example, the customer was reviewing the Manrose QF100H, which has completely different mounting points than this CF200H model, especially as the CF200H is quite a deal larger than the other models in the series.
On the topic of its size, as seen in the various images on the page, it isn’t a square shape like most other extractor fans, but rather a large rectangular shape. This is important to keep in mind when you are planning its location.
With regard to its motor, it features a single-phase induction motor with bearings that are pre-oiled. This decreases the need for any maintenance while also making sure that it will last much longer.
This run-on timer starts from 1 minute and goes up to 20 minutes. It is usually advisable to configure the overrun timer before you have installed the fan.
In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover. Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Previous customers have commented that it is quite sensitive, so take care when configuring it.
Additionally, as with all Manrose unit numbers, the “H” means this model has a built-in humidistat or humidity sensor. This humidity control is fully adjustable from 40%RH to 90%RH. It is usually advisable to configure the humidistat before you have installed the fan.
In order to set it, ensure that the power is turned off first! Then you need to first take off the wiring cover. Next, insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce. Just like the run-on timer, customers have commented that it is sensitive, so take care when adjusting it.

And that concludes our review! If you’re after an even more powerful centrifugal fan by Manrose, moderately priced, with a great extraction rate AND both a Humidity Sensor and Overrun Timer, then you should definitely consider getting the Manrose CF200H as your replacement extractor fan. ]]>The post Xpelair C4TS Review appeared first on Extractors Fan.
]]>The Xpelair C4TS is the quietest intermittent extractor fan on the market. It has a simple installation process, which enables it to be easily fitted onto walls, as well as ceilings and panels. It boasts Xpelair’s Ghost
patented Air Movement Technology and is part of their Simply Silent
range of near-silent extraction fans.
As well as being extremely quiet and being the quietest intermittent fan available, it features a built-in overrun timer, configurable from 30 seconds up to 30 minutes. It’s coloured in a sleek white finish, and the fascia is removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
To top this off, the Xpelair C4TS Simply Silent Contour fan has two speeds, 15l/s and 21/s, allowing for customisation options to suit your application.
The Xpelair C4TS has two airflow rate speeds, which are selectable during installation. The options are 15 litres per second at low speed, or 21 litres per second at high speed. When operating at a higher speed, noise level is not affected too much and the extractor remains near-silent.
In order to configure your chosen speed, you simply turn the dial underneath to the desired speed.
In terms of power consumption, the C4TS has an electrical power rating of 6.3 – 7W. The average extractor fan has an electrical power rating of between 5 – 36W, making the Xpelair C4TS highly energy efficient as well as economical to use. Additionally, an integral hour run meter shows exactly how long the fan has been running.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the extraction fan is its near-silent running sound and lack of noise emission. As you may know, when an extraction fan runs, noise is emitted by both the interior motor and the movement of air through the duct. The Xpelair C4TS combats this with the use of the company’s patented Ghost
Air Movement Technology: a combination of long-life silent motors and precision-engineered parts to mitigate mechanical noise, with advanced airflow management that removes irregular air flow paths and turbulence.
In terms of design, the fan is sleek and sophisticated. At just 4″/100mm in length, it is small, but powerful. The fascias are finished in cool white and have a square design; this gives the fan a modern look and suits an array of aesthetic preferences.
All of the company’s products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility in Great Britain. The C4TS is mainly made from, like other models in Xpelair’s Simply Silent
series, high gloss ABS. ABS material is renowned for its high tensile strength and corrosion resistance; this makes the fan both durable and easy to clean.
The Xpelair C4TS Simply Silent Contour fan includes a run-on timer that is fully adjustable when installed. It can be set from 30 seconds to 30 minutes after the unit has been switched off. Alternatively, a pull cord can be fitted to switch the fan on and off on demand. Another option is to opt for the timer and a built-in humidistat to automatically regulate humidity.

The product comes with a two-year warranty on purchase, in addition to a statutory right of return, ensuring that it can be bought with confidence and peace of mind.

You can also download the Xpelair C4TS Datasheet here.
And that concludes our review! So, is the Xpelair C4TS worth buying? Yes, I do believe that this extractor fan is well worth purchasing. In our noisy modern world, approximately a third of the British public are affected by a chronic lack of sleep, and more than 1 in 10 of us have reported being woken up or kept awake at night by a noisy extractor fan. We shouldn’t have to choose between a damp-free home and a peaceful night’s sleep – with the Xpelair C4TS, at least you’re more likely to get both.
In some negative customer reviews, consumers have stated that it does not perform as rapidly as expected in high-humidity environments, such as bathrooms or shower rooms without windows. For this reason, the product may be better suited to environments with lower humidity levels where damp is still likely to accumulate, such as cloakrooms, toilets, and kitchens. However, a general rule to keep in mind for smaller axial fans is, the quieter the fan, the less powerful it is, and therefore, the less the extraction rate will be.
If you like this fan, you should also check out our full Xpelair C4TR review. This one is very similar to the C4TS but it’s round.

]]>The Manrose MixFlo 100S is the first of the MixFlo series. This mixed flow fan was mainly designed for higher airflow applications where you might prefer a quieter sound. Where most bathroom extractor fans are located inside the bathroom, the MF100S is installed in the loft or ceiling void above, meaning there are no electrics in the bathroom.
The MF100S, including all of the MF100 series, can be mounted in a variety of applications and is appropriate for flexible or rigid ducting.
To make things even better, the Manrose MF100S fan can be ducted from any electrical bathroom zone and can be ducted all the way up to 10 metres without any loss of power.
The Manrose MF100S has a superior maximum extraction flow rate of 245m3/hr, which is around 68 litres per second. MF stands for “Mixed Flow” which describes the combination the airflow technology both an axial and centrifugal impeller.
This speed will depend upon which setting you choose; H (High), M (Medium) and L (Low). The speed of this fan is set using a jumper and pins found underneath the cover.
Depending on the mode you select, this inline duct fan runs from 1,700 RPM up to 2,400 RPM, and the motor runs at a maximum consumption rate of 25 Watts. Even though the wattage might seem higher than some other extractor fans on the market, it is important to note that this is a very powerful fan. It also has a decent SFP Efficiency Rate of 0.37W/l/s, ensuring that this extractor runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Manrose MF100S outputs a very low sound of just 24dB at 3m on the “H” setting, and just 20dB at 3 metres on the “L” setting. This is incredibly quiet, especially for such a powerful extractor fan.
This extractor fan was manufactured from quality ABS thermoplastics, chosen for their long-lasting strength. This will ensure that the MF100S will run efficiently for a very long time to come.
This model does not have a run-on timer feature. If this is something you’re after, you should go for the Manrose MF100T.
The MF100S does NOT have a humidity sensor or humidistat, unfortunately. If this is something you want, you will need to get the Manrose 1361 Remote Humidistat & Timer as well.
This extractor fan by Manrose features a 3-year warranty or 30,000 hours. They have a dedicated technical support line on their website if you have any questions.

]]>The Manrose Quiet Fan 100H is declared by the manufacturer to be a current top domestic extractor fan that comprises a higher extraction rate, whilst also simultaneously outputting a very low decibel sound while it is running. It is the ideal choice for bathrooms, showers and toilets and is designed for wall mounting and ceiling mounting.
To make things even better, the Manrose QF100H fan includes a turning vane system, located in the spigot, which is designed to improve its overall running performance by retaining a continuously high output.
The Manrose QF100H while it runs quietly, has an excellent extractor rate of 75m3/hr, which is roughly 21 (20.8) litres per second. Compared to the standard axial fan available, this is pretty good.
Although this fan runs at a fairly decent speed of 2,300 r.p.m, this fan contains a low energy-consuming motor with a maximum consumption of 4.8 Watts. It also has a low SFP of just 0.24W/l/s, ensuring that this fan runs efficiently.
The Manrose QF100H runs at a low decibel level of just 27dB at 3 metres. The manufacturer has cited that this is over a 60% reduction in comparison to the standard 4-inch 100mm domestic extractor fans available on the market today.
This extractor fan was created using top-quality ABS thermoplastics, chosen for their robust strength and durableness. This will ensure that the QF100H will last for a long time in your bathroom or shower room.
Just like the QF100T, this unit features a timer module that is adjustable. The run-on timer starts from 60 seconds and goes all the way up to 20 minutes. It is advisable that you configure the overrun timer before you install the fan, as it is easier to do so.
In order to set it to your desired time, the overrun time regulator itself has a small opening for a screwdriver. Because it is located at the top of the unit, if you wish to change the setting after installation, you can remove the front cover – there are small caps that cover the screw heads that some customers find easy to miss. Simply twist gently until you reach the timing of your choice.

]]>The post Vent-Axia VASF100T Review appeared first on Extractors Fan.
]]>The Vent-Axia VASF100T is one of the quietest fans currently in the market. It provides a cool bathroom environment and, even better, this fan prevents cold air from entering your bathroom, especially during winter when you’ll need a warmer setting.
With the different types of modern building designs out there, the Vent-Axia VASF100T can fit in all of them and is suitable for bathrooms and toilets. It is also guarded against power surges and ensures it doesn’t blow in case of excess current. A High-efficiency motor and its 4-inch forward blade provide outstanding performance whenever needed.
In addition, this extractor fan comes with a 2-year warranty for peace of mind. Next for our review, we will now get into all the different features of this great fan.
The Vent-Axia Silent Fan VASF100T exhibits two different extraction rates depending on the speed setting selected. It can extract 73 cubic meters per hour (15 litres per second) when on high speed and 54 cubic meters per hour (21 litres per second) when on low speed. This feature comes in handy when you want to remove humidity build-up in your bathroom.
The great thing about having two extraction rates means you can adjust it for your application. You can opt for the lower extraction rate setting if you are installing in your toilet or opt for the higher extraction rate setting if you are installing in your bathroom.
Like the extraction rate, the Vent-Axia Silent Fan also consumes power differently, depending on the speed at which it is running. For instance, when you want humidity driven out of your bathroom at high speed, you run the fan at high speed, which means it will use more power and, in this case, it will use 4.8 watts.
The same case applies when running it at low speed. It uses significantly less power, amounting to 2.7 watts.
Integrated ultra-low sound technology ensures a maximum reduction in noise level. The VASF100T is one of the quietest extractors currently in the market, producing 26 dB (A) when on high speed and very low 14 dB (A) when on low speed.
As a result, it provides maximum ventilation with almost no noise in your bathroom, without a change in quality, providing other people with a relaxed environment with no-noise disturbance.
The Vent-Axia VASF100F is not only the quietest fan but also the most stylish. It offers unique features and several model options for the flexibility and choices of the electrician and households. The Vent-Axia VASF100T Silent Fan series comes with an IPX5 rating, meaning you can use them close to baths and showers, speed moderation, and options for humidity regulations. These excellent features ensure you can set the fan according to your taste and preference.
Not only is it a perfect match for your toilets and bathroom, but it also complies with construction and building regulations and integrates well with low-energy lighting. For this reason, electricians and technicians can install it on either wall, ceilings, panels, or windows.
Being made of strong ABS plastic, this will ensure it is, durable, and long-lasting. It is mechanically stable and sturdy, while also have a great low profile appearance.
The Vent-Axia VASF100F has a fairly simple installation process. However, it is always recommended that a qualified electrician carries out the install.
The VASF100T comes complete with an overrun timer that is adjustable between five to thirty minutes.
In order to configure the timer, you need to first remove the wiring cover. Ensure that the power is turned off first! Next, you’ll need to insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce it. Customers have said it is pretty sensitive, so take care when setting it.
The Silent Fan by Vent-Axia comes with a 2-year warranty, which is fairly standard. Details of their warranty can be found at the bottom of the Instruction Manual. Make sure you check out their help section if you have any issues after you purchase.

And that concludes this review! If you’re after a super quiet extractor fan that can be adapted for either your bathroom or toilet then you should definitely consider this fan.
One thing to keep in mind when purchasing this fan is, that while the low-speed mode is very quiet and uses less power, it also extracts less airflow.

]]>The post Envirovent Silent 100t Review appeared first on Extractors Fan.
]]>The Envirovent Silent 100t is an innovative 100mm domestic axial powerful extractor fan, designed for solving ventilation problems in bathrooms and WCs. It is part of Envirovent’s range of 100mm domestic axial extract fans.
The SIL100T features an adjustable run-on timer, and is fitted with motors mounted on elastic silent blocks. This enables the fan to deliver exceptional performance whilst running incredibly quietly – so much so that it won a Quiet Mark award in 2013. It’s finished in white, possesses stylish features, and benefits from an adjustable 1 to 30-minute overrun timer.
The Envirovent SIL100T can be fitted onto walls, windows, or ceilings. It comes fitted with a pilot light, backdraught shutter, and airflow guide vanes as standard. The fan is made from ABS material and can operate efficiently in temperatures up to 40 degrees C.
In addition to operating quietly, the Envirovent Silent 100T is a moderately powerful fan. It boasts an impressive extraction rate of 26 litres per second or 95 cubic metres per hour. It runs at a speed of 2400 rotations per minute; this is one of the highest extraction rates for any 4-inch axial fan. This exceptional performance is facilitated by the fan’s fitted pilot light, backdraught shutter, and airflow guide vanes.
This fan is CE approved, and has a power consumption rate of 8 watts (W). Most extractor fans consume between 5 – 36W worth of power when used; this makes the SIL100T highly energy efficient. The product is IP45 rated and runs off of the mains at between 230/240 V AC. To operate with the timer functionality, the fan requires a permanent live, switched live, and neutral connection (3 wires + earth) at the fan position. Therefore, three connections are required for the unit to fully operate.
As a 2013 Quiet Mark award winner, the SIL100T is notable for its exceptionally quiet operation. The fan’s motor is mounted onto elastic silent blocks, enabling it to perform at full power with near-silent running. A key point of many customer reviews from across the web mention this feature as one of the main motivations for purchasing the product. When standing close to the fan during operation, the sound is audible, but not loud – its sound output measures 26.5 decibels at a distance of 3 metres.
The fan also benefits from being quite compact. The duct measures 100mm in diameter and the exterior dimensions measure 158 x 158mm, with an interior (non-visible) depth of 109.3mm. It is made from ABS thermoplastic material and finished in white gloss, though it is also available with a silver chrome finish. It has some notable build features: it’s fitted with a pilot light, as well as backdraught shutters and airflow guide vanes as standard. This adds to the fan’s overall performance, without compromising on design.
The Envirovent Silent-100T is fitted with an adjustable run-on timer. When running in automatic mode, the over-run timer calculates the amount of time to operate, depending on how long the fan has been running. This feature further adds to the product’s energy efficiency level and provides peace of mind, as it turns off automatically.
Speaking of peace of mind, the Envirovent SIL100T, along with the other models in the silent range, comes with a five-year warranty, in addition to the statutory right of return. The company has a friendly customer service team to assist with warranty, fault, and repair enquiries over the phone.
The Envirovent Silent 100t has been reviewed thousands of times by verified customers that have provided genuine feedback. Click below to read the verified customer reviews in order to make an informed decision.

The Envirovent SIL100T is certainly a great buy – it’s one of the most popular extractor fans for a reason. The quiet running volume, as well as the excellent extraction rate and the fan’s energy efficiency, make it a purchase that’s well worth it.
As the average length of warranty for any given product is between one and two years, the fact that the Envirovent SIL100T comes with a five-year warranty is pretty impressive, so it’s a purchase that can be made with peace of mind at the forefront. Though installation is relatively straightforward and simple, it’s best to have it installed by a professional, as this extends the warranty to cover both parts and labour.
This fan has a powerful extraction rate and is best suited to smaller rooms that are prone to generate large amounts of humidity, such as bathrooms and cloakrooms. So one thing to keep in mind is that it may not be as effective when installed in larger rooms.

The CF200T works great against the usual pressures of long ducts as well as any grill resistance. It comes fitted with a built-in flap in the discharge spigot area to dramatically reduce the likelihood of any backdraughts.
This fan is suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.
The Manrose CF200T has a decent extraction rate of 110m3/hr, approximately 31 litres per second. While this fan does not have the highest extraction rate out there, this is to be expected as this fan’s design is intended for extracting air over longer duct runs than usual.
This centrifugal fan runs at 1,400 RPM and the motor runs at a consumption of 17 Watts. Although the wattage and RPM is lower than the CF100T, it has a higher pressure of 120 p.a and will extract a lot more moisture and airflow.
The Manrose CF200T outputs a noise volume of around 45dB at 3 metres. This is not the quietest fan and you will notice it – especially if you are changing from a typical axial fan that you’d get in a bathroom. But keep in mind, as mentioned above, this is a powerful fan and will get the job done.
This extractor fan was manufactured from high-quality ABS, chosen for its long-lasting strength. It also allows for easy cleaning, ensuring that the CF200T will work well for a long period of time.
One thing to mention, as pointed out by a customer, is that if you are replacing an existing Manrose extractor fan, the mounting points will likely not be in the same place. In this particular example, the customer was reviewing the Manrose QF100H, which has completely different mounting points than this CF200T model, especially as it is larger than other models.
On the subject of its size, it isn’t a square like most other extractor fans out there but a larger rectangular shape. This is important to keep in mind when you are planning the location for your chosen application.
With regard to its motor, it features a single-phase induction motor with bearings that are pre-oiled. This reduces the need for any maintenance while also ensuring that it will last the test of time.
As with all Manrose model numbers, the “T” means this unit features an overrun timer module. This run-on timer starts from 1 minute up to 20 minutes. It is usually best to set the overrun timer before you have installed the fan.
In order to configure it, you need to first remove the wiring cover. Ensure that the power is turned off first! Next, you’ll need to insert a small flat-headed screwdriver and gently twist anti-clockwise to increase the time, and clockwise to reduce it. Customers have said it is quite sensitive, so take care when setting it.
This extractor fan by Manrose features a 3-year warranty or 30,000 hours. They have a dedicated technical support line on their website if you have any questions.

And that concludes this review! If you’re after an even more powerful centrifugal fan by Manrose, moderately priced, with a great extraction rate, then you should definitely consider the CF200T as your replacement fan. One consideration to keep in mind is that this model is larger than others and you will need to factor in the compatibility with regard to the aesthetics of your bathroom.
If you think you’ll need a smaller fan, you should check out our full Manrose CF100T review.
Additionally, they also make this model with a humidity sensor. If this sounds like something you want in an extractor fan, be sure to check out our Manrose CF200H review.

]]>The Airflow QuietAir QT100HT is their third fan in their award-winning QuietAir range and is most suitable in bathrooms, en-suites and toilets.
This award-winning axial fan can either be surface mounted or recessed into ceilings or walls and provides a decent maximum flow rate of around 90 m3/h, which is approximately 25 l/s.
The Airflow team are known for their cutting-edge designs (as seen with their iCON 30 fan) and they certainly did not stop here with this one! Also, this extractor has built-in a backdraft shutter flap, a humidity sensor, a configurable run-on timer, and can be installed in any bathroom zone – making this truly an excellent fan and absolutely packed with value!
The Airflow QT100HT has a max extraction flow rate of 90 m3/hr, which is around 25 litres per second. This extraction rate is, therefore, more suitable for small-to-average sized applications e.g. toilets, en-suites, bathrooms etc.
This extractor fan also comes with two modes – low and high, both with different extraction rates. Here is a table breaking down each modes flow rate:
The QuietAir QT100HT fan, as seen above in the table, has a max power consumption rate of around 9W on the high mode and just 5W on the low mode. This extractor fan is super energy efficient with a Specific Fan Power (SFP) of just 0.24W/l/s!
In addition to its ultra-low power usage, the QT100HT features a delayed start timer, that reduces any unnecessary use – like any late-night trips to the bathroom etc. This is a great feature as it means this fan is, even more, energy-efficient.
The Airflow QT00HT runs at a super-quiet noise level of just 25dB(A) on low mode and 30dB(A) on high mode, as indicated in the table earlier. For an extractor fan to be considered quiet, it should be 30 decibels or less – which makes this fan especially quiet, especially on the low mode.
Furthermore, in 2014, Airflow’s QuietAir QT100 range was awarded the QuietMark by the Noise Abatement Society, solidifying that this extractor fan is one of the lowest sounding around!
As well as running quietly, and utilising a small amount of energy, the QT100HT also comprises an innovative room refresh module (ultimately an interval timer) that can be adjusted for long-term regular ventilation. This can be configured to auto-start at 0, 8, 12, or 24 hours.
This fan has a back draught shutter flap and an integral flow straightener which provides excellent airflow regulation. The effective impeller allows the flow of up to 60m3/hr to pass through up to 12m of rigid ducting – which means 90-degree twists and turns as well!
The motor inside is a long-life ball-bearing one, and Airflow promises that it should last for at least 40,000 hours of run time, making sure your fan will do its job and well for a long time.
As you may have gathered by the letter “T” in the model number, this unit features not one but three configurable timer modules. On top of the delayed-start timer and room refresh interval timer discussed earlier, it also has an overrun timer too, which can be configured to 6, 10, 15, or 21 minutes.
In order to adjust any of these timers, where it’s the; Overrun Timer, Delayed-start Timer and the Room Refresh Timer, there are DIP switches and jumpers inside the unit – for more information, see the nearby QuietAir Settings video.
Unlike the Airflow QT100T, the QT100HT does come with a humidistat, which is adjustable from 60% RH to 90% RH. Having a humidistat is perfect for those that find their bathroom or shower is fairly humid for longer periods of time. In addition, this fan is quite handy because it also has adjustable timer control options as well.
This extractor fan by Airflow comes with a 3-year warranty, which is pretty standard. Make sure you check out their help section if you have any issues after you purchase.

If you’re after a quiet, low-profile extractor fan, that is both energy-efficient and has a good extraction rate – you definitely need to consider this fan. All of the QT100 series – including the QT100HT, were rated very quiet by a group of acoustic specialists from Quiet Mark, an independent global certification programme, that appraises the quietest products around the world, in many different categories. If you made it this far in the review then I am guessing you think you should get this fan as well!
With that said, if you feel you don’t need a humidity sensor and want to save some money, you should definitely check out our Airflow QT100T review.
